Quote of the Day
"Going to a bar is not an opportunity to go get drunk." -- TABC Capt. David Alexander, who, apparently, has never been to Zinnie's.
Gee! 90% of the individuals in the hotel bar were from out of town. What an odd coinicidence. Yet another shamless revenue grab aimed at citizens of other municipalities.
I was extorted by a similar shady deal when I lived in DC: Hwy 295 runs from VA through the very corner of DC and up to BWI airport. The speed limit is 60mph in VA and MD, and drops to 50mph for the 2 miles that you're in DC. DC placed a photo radar speed trap right by the Penn. Ave. onramp (not gonna catch DC speeders--they're just getting up to speed). I got nailed for 61 in a 50. 60$. Wonder what the breakdown is of the residency of those who get their picture send to them in the mail?
Oh, and DUKE SUCKS! Geaux Tigers (LSU and U of M)!
I'm not sure I like my ideas to be validated by ultra-conservative Mooney-rags.
Hmmm. It seems that going to a bar might be an opportunity to get drunk after all (via fark).
